Today Station 42 Carrizo Plain Station is staffed 7 days a week. This was possible because of the sales tax receipts from the two major solar projects currently under constructions. We appreciate the good work of the Board of Supervisors, the Solar Companies, the County Administration staff, County Planning staff and our staff in developing and implementing this improved service. A special thank you to Supervisor Patterson, Capt. Ermigarat and FAE Graves for their work with the community of Carrizo Plain (California Valley) by keeping them informed and listening and addressing their concerns. Thank you, Robert Lewin, Unit and County Fire Chief CAL FIRE/San Luis Obispo Consolidated Fire Protection Proudly serving San Luis Obispo County, Pismo Beach, Los Osos, Avila Beach and Cayucos.
